I noticed a bolt had popped loose and I was having spots of water dripping down from the gutters. I was growing quite concerned. I called two different companies for estimates. The first one told me that my gutters are fine, but they had tons of debris and leaves built up. They failed to show me any photos though. Also, the man who came didn't even bring a ladder. I found that to be strange. His solution was to replace the bolts with clips, clean out the gutters and place leaf guards on them and I would be good to go. His estimate was a bit high, but I figured if that was what it was going to take, it was what it was. I went ahead and had Zachary from The Brothers That Just Do Gutters come later that afternoon. He brought a ladder and he showed me photos. First of all, there was absolutely no leaves or debris built up. He explained to me that my 25 year old gutters were past their life expectancy, not level and not large enough to handle the large quantities of rain we had been getting. He also explained that there would be no need for leaf guards because there were no leaves up there. Imagine my disappointment in the other company for being dishonest and not offering a solution that would really fix my problem. When Zachary sent the estimate to replace the gutters which would solve all my problems, it came in much lower than the competition. I am so grateful I got a second opinion! I am thrilled and I will have them back to do the front of my house next year.
